Bro. Cantor, you are correct in using the words “expelled dissenters” because the ministers were indeed expelled when they dissented and did not follow the majority in the evil works of darkness but instead have gladly obeyed God’s commandment to "expose them".   But you erred in saying that the ministers are rebellious just because they were in compliance with the commandments of God.  If obeying God's commandment is rebellion, then will you also say the same of what Apostle Peter said when he declared that “we ought to obey God first than men”?

Again, Bro. Cantor you erred in calling the small remnant as a “club” because there is nothing in the prophecy that say it is.  Likewise, Bro. Jon never mention in the bible study that “it doesn’t matter that the prophecy about the small remnant was not taught by the Messenger and Bro. EGM.”  This early, it appears that Bro. Cantor is motivated by a desire to deceive his readers rather than to enlighten.  He must have forgotten that he is a minister of the gospel.  It is worth mentioning that the Satan is described by the Bible as "the deceiver of the world."  In this response, we will dissect line by line what Bro. Cantor has presented or misrepresented and will oppose vehemently if the same are paradoxically and diametrically opposed to the words of God.

He said:  This shows…

                            1.Their flat-out admission that they are teaching a different gospel since                            their claim to being the prophesied small remnant was NOT TAUGHT by                        the Messenger and Bro. EGM.

Answer: 

Bro. Cantor’s understanding of the bible is obviously flawed.  In his own erroneous interpretation, it can be deduced that if the words of God written in the bible was not taught by the Messenger and Bro. EGM, those amount to a different gospel.  That, certainly is a  misinterpretation of Apostle Paul’s teachings written in Galatians 1:8 that says:

“But even if we, or an angel from heaven, should preach to you a gospel contrary to that which we [originally] preached to you, let him be condemned to destruction!”

Bro. Cantor, must be reminded that what Apostle Paul was warning the Galatians is of a gospel that is contrary to what they have originally preached which is not really another gospel but a counterfeit teaching from a distorted gospel of Christ.  This is what is written in verses 6 to 7 of the same book:

I am astonished and extremely irritated that you are so quickly shifting your allegiance and deserting Him who called you by the grace of Christ, for a different [even contrary] gospel; ⁷ which is really not another [gospel]; but there are [obviously] ^[a]some [people masquerading as teachers] who are disturbing and confusing you [with a misleading, counterfeit teaching] and want to distort the gospel of Christ [twisting it into something which it absolutely is not].

We, the true defenders are matured enough to distinguish the true gospel from a distorted one. The Lord Jesus has given us the wisdom, the discernment thereof that He promised to His true  followers.  (Luke 21:15-18)  A lot of times in the INC of EVM, the verses may not have been distorted but the applications thereof are obviously diverted thus qualifying them to be that of another gospel.    We love and respect the sugo and Ka EGM but what Bro. Cantor is trying to project in his article is placing them ahead of God and our Lord Jesus Christ.  We have always been taught to put God first in our life and our Lord Jesus also taught that a servant is no greater than his master.  We are all servants and that include both the sugo and Ka Erdy.  We are no greater than our master who is our Almighty God Himself and our Lord Jesus Christ. 

                                                 "....for i will give you the right words and such wisdom that none of
                                                  your opponents will be able to reply or refute you!  Even those closest                                                    to you - your parents, brothers, relatives, and friends - will betray you.                                                      They will even kill you some of you.  And everyone will hate you                                                                  because you are my followers.  But not a hair of your head will perish."

                                        2.  Their temerity and conceitedness in ASSERTING THAT THEY KNOW BETTER than                            the Messenger and Ka Erdy and in usurping the authority to preach the gospel,                                which they have lost when they abandoned and were removed from the ministry                              and the Church.

Answer: 

Such a statement is totally false and irresponsible.  The true ministers that were expelled for siding with the truth never did these allegations from Bro. Cantor and has never usurp any authority to preach the gospel. It will give him a little semblance of credibility if he will back his charges up with solid proofs.   Likewise, there is no verse written in the bible that ministers will lose right to preach when they are expelled from the synagogue because their election came from God and it is God  alone that can take back what He has given.  This is what Apostle Paul declared in Galatians 3:7

“of which I became a minister according to the gift of the grace of God given to me by the effective working of His power."

The ministry is God's gift of grace given to His people by the effective working of His power. When will God take back this gift that he has given?  This is what is documented in Psalm 50:16-24:

But to the wicked God says:
“What right have you to declare My statutes,
Or take My covenant in your mouth,
¹⁷ Seeing you hate instruction
And cast My words behind you?
¹⁸ When you saw a thief, you consented^[c] with him,
And have been a partaker with adulterers.
¹⁹ You give your mouth to evil,
And your tongue frames deceit.
²⁰ You sit and speak against your brother;
You slander your own mother’s son.

The verses speak clearly; God has taken away the minister’s right to declare His statutes when he turns wicked, when he hates instruction, when they consented with a thief and had become partakers with adulterers, when they give their mouth to evil and their tongue frames deceit, when they sit and speak against their brother and slander their own mother’s son.  Clear as a whistle!    Who, therefore have already lost their right to preach God’s word?  The bible points an accusing finger on the ministers in the INC of EVM.  They are the recipients of God's gift of grace but in a sudden twist of fate, have not lifted a finger to oppose the evil and corruption in the Church.  Now that we have ascertained who truly have lost their right to preach the gospel, the other contentions of Bro. Cantor are clearly negated by the fact that he is among those whose right to preach has been withdrawn by God but for the sake of clarity, we shall continue dissecting his statements.

He said further that we have forgotten that it was the Messenger who holds the seal.  No, we did not forget and never will.  You are correct, the ministers and workers who are with the messenger in the sealing function are inside the Church, the true Church of Christ under the administration of the sugo and Ka Erdy and not the institution of EVM.   What you are forgetting Bro. Cantor is the stewardship or administration in the true Church of Christ came from God (Colossians 1:25) and therefore, the Administrator must also come from God.  In the case of EVM, you and I know that he has no authority as Executive Minister for not complying with the provisions of the Amended Articles of Incorporation of the INC.  In view thereof, it is our firm belief that the ministers who were expelled from the synagogue but are very much active members of the body of our Lord Jesus Christ did not lose their right to preach the gospel.   And as discussed above, the ministers who turned their backs on God and have become wicked are the ones that no longer have that right.

⁴ I now rejoice in my sufferings for you, and fill up in my flesh what is lacking in the afflictions of Christ, for the sake of His body, which is the church, ²⁵ of which I became a minister according to the ^[a]stewardship from God which was given to me for you, to fulfill the word of God. (Col 1:25)

                         3.   Their ignorance of God’s words. Christ taught that the understanding of the                                        mystery  of God’s words is given only to the messengers of God. Those who are                              outside the confines of such divine commissioning can only hear and see but not                            understand (Mark 4:11-12). Not among those sent by God, they have no                                              understanding of the true gospel, much less the authority to preach it (Rom. 10:14-                          15).

Answer:

There is no argument; the messengers of God were given the understanding of the mystery of the kingdom of God and if I may add, it includes those that were sealed.  Likewise, there is no argument concerning these ministers who stood up on the side of God’s righteousness.  They continue to manifest the wisdom and understanding that God has given them unlike the corrupt and wicked ministers who read verses from the bible but deliberately divert its application for the glory of EVM.

Bro. Cantor said further that the ministers are totally contradicting not just themselves but the biblical truths that the sugo and Ka Erdy taught.  Again, it will lend credence to his statement if only he was able to show at least one teaching that the ministers contradict.  Preaching the words of God written in the bible is a sworn duty of every minister.  It was God who appointed them as ministers and preaching the gospel is their covenant with Him.  Do not think for a minute Bro. Cantor that the INC of EVM has the monopoly of the right to preach the words of God. As mentioned in Psalm 50:16-24, God has already withdrawn your right to preach His words, ministers turned wicked when you opted to obey a man.

            4. Their being devoid of the Holy Spirit. Christ clearly stated that those who are of the                          world cannot receive or accept the Holy Spirit (John 14:17). Those who are separate                        from Christ (separated or expelled from the Church) are of the world (Eph. 2:12).

Answer:

Who between the expelled ministers and the ministers in the INC of EVM are devoid of the Holy Spirit?  Let us cite a specific example.  In the prayers of the wicked ministers this is what they are asking God to do:

            “Amaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa puksain mo sila”

Where on earth can you find ministers presenting themselves as men of God but is actually ordering God to commit murder?   It was God Himself who commanded “Thou Shall Not Kill” yet these evil ministers are asking God to commit what He has forbidden.  What a way to blaspheme God ha!  Now tell us Bro. Cantor if these ministers are devoid of the Holy Spirit or not.  To me even their sanity had left them already.  That is what happens if you switch loyalty from God to man.

This last statement of Bro. Cantor will really make people laugh it bounced back straight to them.  He said:

“There used to be false prophets among God's people, just as you will have some FALSE TEACHERS in your group. They will secretly TEACH THINGS THAT ARE WRONG -- teachings that will CAUSE PEOPLE TO BE LOST. They will even refuse to accept the Master, Jesus, who bought their freedom. So they will bring quick ruin on themselves. … THOSE FALSE TEACHERS ONLY WANT YOUR MONEY, so THEY WILL USE YOU BY TELLING YOU LIES. Their judgment spoken against them long ago is still coming, and their ruin is certain.” (II Peter 2:1, 3 NCV)

The bible is clear, Bro. Cantor that the false prophets are among God’s people.  They were the ones who took over from the Apostles in the First Century Church of Christ.  They were those who led the Church to Apostasy.  They are the wolves in sheep’s clothing.  In our time, they are the ministers who took over the helm from Ka Erdy.  The ministers who are asking God to kill, leaders who planted hate in the minds of the gullible brethren.   These are the ministers who instead of uniting have divided the friends and families in the Church, these are ministers who will never neglect to exact money and more money from the brethren with their never-ending special offerings.  They are those who teach that it is ok to disrespect parents. They continue to lie to the brethren about how they plunged the Church into indebtedness with billions of pesos that they owe to the banks.  They have the temerity to mortgage the properties of the Church that were already offered to God hence those are no longer the Church’s properties but God’s.  It is never their intention to glorify God but man as evidenced by those Guinness records.

What about the expelled ministers?  Did any one of them commit any of the despicable acts mentioned above?  No, not one.  Remember; in the verse you used the false teachers mentioned are “in your group”.  We, the true defenders are no longer in your group.  We obeyed the biblical exhortation written in Ephesians 5:11 and 2 Corinthians 6:17 that says:

            “And have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness, but rather expose

             them.”

“And so the Lord says, “You must leave them and separate yourselves from them. Have nothing to do with what is unclean, and I will accept you.”

Bro. Cantor, you need not look elsewhere, just look inside your group for it is not hard to find out who among you are the false teachers.  Why?  Because you all teach the same lesson as per the teachings that your leaders have crafted and wanted you all to preach.  You and your group are the fulfillment of the new wolves in sheep’s clothing.  You are trying to complete the Apostasy of the INC but you will not succeed because God placed us here; the small remnant.

UNMASKING THE REAL LIFE FALLEN ANGELS.

“Fallen angels” is a term that the Owe Church ascribe to the true members of the Church of Christ that were expelled from the synagogue for standing up for the truth, for refusing to subject ourselves to the fake leaders, for obeying faithfully the teachings of God, the Lord Jesus and the Apostles.  It is because of their inarguable ignorance of the Holy Scriptures and for lack of words to describe our actions that they simply called us the fallen angels.   What really is the meaning of fallen angels?

The term “fallen angels” is not written in the bible. Its origin could have been derived from when our Lord Jesus Christ in the book of Luke 10:18 said the following: 

             He said to them, “I watched Satan fall from heaven like [a flash of] lightning.

The bible has documented Satan’s fall from heaven in the following passages:  (Rev. 12:7-9)

“Now war arose in heaven, Michael and his angels fighting against the dragon; and the dragon and his angels fought, ⁸ but they were defeated and there was no longer any place for them in heaven. ⁹ And the great dragon was thrown down, that ancient serpent, who is called the Devil and Satan, the deceiver of the whole world—he was thrown down to the earth, and his angels were thrown down with him.”  

It can be deduced from the verses above that the term fallen angels is referring to Satan and his angels that were defeated in a war in heaven lead by Michael the Archangel.  And finding no place any longer for them in heaven, Satan was thrown down to earth with his angels. 

How did the bible describe Satan?  He is the great dragon, the ancient serpent, deceiver of the whole world. 

What was Satan prior to his banishment?  This is documented in Ezekiel 28:11-15

“You were the model of perfection,
    full of wisdom and exquisite in beauty.
¹³ You were in Eden,
    the garden of God.
Your clothing was adorned with every precious stone^[b]—
    red carnelian, pale-green peridot, white moonstone,
    blue-green beryl, onyx, green jasper,
    blue lapis lazuli, turquoise, and emerald—
all beautifully crafted for you
    and set in the finest gold.
They were given to you
    on the day you were created.
¹⁴ I ordained and anointed you
    as the mighty angelic guardian.^[c]
You had access to the holy mountain of God
    and walked among the stones of fire.

¹⁵ “You were blameless in all you did
    from the day you were created
    until the day evil was found in you.

Satan was blameless in all he did from the day he was created until evil was found in him.  What was the evil found in him?  He conceived an impossible thought, to place his throne higher than the clouds above the earth, that he might become equal in rank to the Lord's power (2^nd Book of Enoch, Chapter 29).  And in the book of the prophet Isaiah this is what is written in chapter 14:13-14

But you said in your heart,
‘I will ascend to heaven;
I will raise my throne above the stars of God;
I will sit on the mount of assembly
In the remote parts of the north.
¹⁴ 
‘I will ascend above the heights of the clouds;
I will make myself like the Most High.’

In other words, Satan wanted to be equal with God.  

We will now analyze if the term “fallen angels” can be equated with the children of God who remained loyal to Him.  Let us zero in on Satan, the leader of the “fallen angels”.  How was he described in the book of Revelation?  It says very clearly “the deceiver of the whole world”.  From what we have read and written so far in social media, and even in the numerous challenges we have issued against the apologists of the INC of EVM there has not been anything that aimed to deceive anyone.  We remain within the confines of our mandate to “take no part in the unfruitful works of darkness but rather EXPOSE THEM.”

Therefore, in order to be equated with the term “fallen angels” a person’s work has to have a premeditated and deliberate desire to deceive people. 

Again, in the interest of justice and fair play, we encourage anyone to let us know if we are stepping out of bounds and has fallen into the dubious distinction of deceiving people.  What are some acts that could be classified as “deception”?

1.        If the first 2 deposits of the brethren for the 2019 thanksgiving were not counted/recorded/accounted for and there is no reasonable explanation given, that is DECEPTION.

2.       If the focus of propagation and aid to humanity (lingap) is Africa while there are millions of Filipinos that are in dire need of economic aid, then there must be a hidden agenda somewhere and that is DECEPTION.

3.      When they forced the brethren and the public to believe that Sister Tenny wants to grab power even though there is that physical impossibility to do so on account of old age, that is plain and simple DECEPTION.

4.      When the reasons for Brother Angel’s incarceration were planted evidence, then that is DECEPTION.

5.      When there were documents uncovered evidencing heavy indebtedness to Metrobank and AUB yet they are in complete denial making the brethren believe otherwise, then that is DECEPTION.

6.      When you start mortgaging God’s properties (properties dedicated and offered to God becomes His) indiscriminately, that is DECEPTION.

7.      When your leader no longer gives importance to things of God by re-scheduling worship services to give way to admittedly less important things, engaged in unabated urge for more money offerings which is unprecedented in the Church history, twisting bible verses to suit one’s evil intentions, then it Is DECEPTION IN THE HIGHEST DEGREE.

Clearly, the works of the leaders and their minions in the INC of EVM falls easily into the category of deception.  But no, we will not call them “deceivers of the whole world” because such title belongs exclusively to Satan.  However, note that when he was plunged to earth face first, his angels (those that he was able to deceive in heaven) were altogether thrown out with him.  They are none other than the FALLEN ANGELS.   It is safe to say, therefore, that the deceivers in the Church today are those who toe the same line as Satan or Satan’s Angels who from the time of creation up to this very moment has never let up in their work of deceiving people.  The bible puts the number of those that were deceived as “as the sands of the seashore.”  

^14 [e]Blessed (happy, prosperous, to be admired) are those who wash their robes [in the blood of Christ by believing and trusting in Him—the righteous who do His commandments], so that they may have the right to the tree of life, and may enter by the gates into the city. ¹⁵ Outside are the dogs [the godless, the impure, those of low moral character] and the sorcerers [with their intoxicating drugs, and magic arts], and the immoral persons [the perverted, the molesters, and the adulterers], and the murderers, and the idolaters, and everyone who loves and practices lying (deception, cheating).

WHAT IS THE SIGNIFICANCE OF SEPTEMBER 2019?

WHAT IS THE SIGNIFICANCE OF SEPTEMBER 2019?

September 2019 is an extremely important date for EVM.  It is the date where he will become the corporation sole and Executive Minister of the Iglesia ni Cristo (Church of Christ) that was registered in the Philippine Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC).  You will recall that he assumed this position in 2009 immediately after the passing away of Ka Erdy without complying with the provision of the INC’s Incorporation papers.  He submitted his Affidavit of Accession to Office to the SEC which the latter accepted since acceptance is a mere ministerial function of the SEC.  If the takeover is defective, it is not the duty of the SEC to question it but the parties that may have been aggrieved is given 10 years within which to file a claim that will render EVM’s actions null and void.  The 10-year period is what is called the STATUTES OF LIMITATIONS.  If no party will file a claim challenging his legitimacy within the limits prescribed by law, then the misrepresentation by EVM becomes legal and binding. 

This is the reason we the defenders have been exposing all along that EVM is a fake TP because the provisions of the Church’s incorporation papers were not complied with upon his assumption as successor to Ka Erdy.   It must be noted that from the time of his accession to the throne up to this very moment, we never heard or learned that EVM took an oath and sworn in as Executive Minister and successor of Ka Erdy.  

What provision of the Articles of Incorporation was not complied with when EVM took over as Executive Minister?  Below is what is contained in the Certificate of the Executive Minister for the Amended Articles of Incorporation of the IGLESIA NI CRISTO (CHURCH OF CHRIST).  

That as Executive Minister or Presiding Elder of the IGLESIA NI CRISTO (CHURCH OF CHRIST), the following resolution is hereby adopted:

Resolution #8

Eight:     That in case of vacancy in the office of the Executive Minister or Presiding Elder, the Church Council shall convene and determine by election who shall be the successor.  However, the incumbent Executive Minister or Presiding Elder may convene the Church Council for the purpose of electing or choosing who shall be his successor.  The vacancy in the office of the Deputy Executive Minister shall be filled by a recommendation from the majority of the Church Council, and such recommendation shall be approved by the Executive Minister/Presiding Elder. 

There has been so much controversy surrounding the interpretation of the above provision.  Why?  Because the said provision is not a new provision but is already in the old Articles of Incorporation of the INC.   The apologists of the INC including its puppet ministers are of the opinion that the said provision in the Amended Articles of Incorporation was merely restated and renumbered as it is already included in the old Articles of Incorporation.   Thus; the amendment introduced by Ka Erdy is of no significance and therefore holds no probative value.  While we agree that the said provision is a carry-over from the old Articles of Incorporation, we totally disagree that the amendment from Ka Erdy is of no significance for the following reasons:

• 1. Why will Ka Erdy, the righteous leader of the INC introduce an                    amendment that has no value at all which is totally an exercise in              futility?  It is way so uncharacteristic of Ka Erdy.  To say that the                amendment is useless is very revolting to reasons and does not                  make any sense at all.
• 2. The amendment was very timely as it was done after his discovery              of EVM’s evil ways.
• 3.  Ka Erdy was fully aware that EVM was already elected as his                      successor, therefore, his intent was to invalidate such election and              as  the Corporation Sole of the INC, he is clothed with power to do              such act.  We hold the position that any such expressed written                  document to that effect is not necessary.  The amendment that he              made constitutes an expressed revocation of EVM’s election. 

In the light of the foregoing, it can be deduced that Ka Erdy has all the reasons to amend the Church’s Incorporation papers.  The intent of which is to not allow that the Church in which the Last Messenger and himself labored so hard for be ruined even by his own son.  We members of the INC has seen with our own eyes how in Ka Erdy’s decisions and proclamation he is inspired by the Holy Spirit of God.  There had been so many instances in his lifetime that God was with him.  Too many to mention.  Inspired by the Holy Spirit, he declared to his family in his waning days that;

• Aapihin nila kayo  (they will oppress you)
• Ititiwalag nila kayo (they will expel you)
• Uumang ang pagtalikod  (Apostasy will come knocking)
• Pilitin ninyong mabuhay (try to stay alive)

All these as we know were fulfilled.  Not contented with their expulsion, the family are being oppressed to this very day.  Ka Angel and his companions are languishing in jail for trumped-up charges.  Apostasy has been here discreetly sneaked in by the corrupt leaders.

As we already mentioned, Ka Erdy’s intent in the amendment was to invalidate the election of EVM as his successor.  In any contractual interpretation intent is of extreme importance.   If there is a dispute to the interpretation of a contract, Courts seek to enforce the intent of the parties to the contract.  But since Ka Erdy is no longer around, we rely on the attending circumstances and the language of the amendment to determine his real intent.  Moreover, we hold the position that if EVM was elected as successor of Ka Erdy, the latter did not confirm and ratify the same.  Proof of which is while he was sworn in as Deputy Executive Minister, HE WAS NEVER SWORN IN AS EGM’S SUCCESSOR.  Note that his designation and election as Deputy Executive Minister and successor respectively came almost at the same time.  But during the oath taking ceremony, he was only sworn in as Deputy Executive Minister but not as successor.  In the Church, it is a tradition that every acceptance of office no matter how small the office may be requires an oath-taking.

1. Do we have any qualms about him as Executive Minister?

        No!  What we are saying is he violated the Church’s Incorporation papers.

2. Do we even mind if he becomes the Executive Minister?

        No! Because what is clear to us is we obeyed God in His command to                “EXPOSE THEM” and we were right in saying that he is a fake TP and the            Church that belong to God was once upon a time RULED BY A LEADER                NOT FROM GOD.

3. Does his legitimacy give credence that EVM is from God?

        No!  His legitimacy is by operation of law and is therefore recognized only          by the law of man.

4. On our part, how do we look in the eyes of God when we did not lift a                finger to question his illegitimate reign?  (Although we still have 11                    months to do it)

        If it is the will of God for His Church to be ruled by an illegitimate to test            us, then let it be.  If not, what excuse can we present to God before Him            in His judgment seat?

THE SMALL REMNANT

We all see how history repeat itself and how it unfolded before our very eyes.  See how it happened before in Israel and how it is repeated today in our time.

History merely repeats itself. It has all been done before. Nothing under the sun is truly new. (Ecclesiastes 1:9)

Heaven and earth, listen! This is what the Lord says:

“I raised my children and helped them grow up,
            but they have turned against me.
³ A bull knows its master,
    and a donkey knows where its owner feeds it.
But Israel does not know me.
    My people do not understand.”

⁴ Oh, what a sinful nation! Their guilt is like a heavy weight that they must carry. They are evil, destructive children.^[a] They left the Lord and insulted the Holy One of Israel. They turned away and treated him like a stranger.  (Isaiah 1:2-4)

God said “I raised my children and helped them grow up, but they have turned against me.”

How did the children of God today in the Church of Christ turned against God?  In the book of Jeremiah 5:30 this is written:

“A terrible and shocking thing has happened in the land: ³¹ prophets speak nothing but lies; priests rule as the prophets command, and my people offer no objections.”

In other renditions of the bible it says “my people like it that way”  Clearly, the children of God whom He raised and helped grow up turned against Him when they consented to what is happening in our dear Holy Church.   Isn’t this what is unfolding before our eyes today?  Brethren - multitudes of them consenting to the evil and corruption being perpetrated by the spurious leaders of the INC?

What else did God declare further?  He said “Israel does not know me.  My people do not understand.”  God even cited as an example the bull that knows its master and the donkey that knows where its owner feeds it.  But the children of God do not know Him for when it was time to oppose and stand up for what is right, His people offer no objections.   Isn’t this a photocopy of what we are seeing today?  Brethren who used to say they are of God and even took an oath saying they will “defend the Church against all her enemies whomsoever” but now declare they are one with EVM and has completely forgotten about God!  Truly they are the fulfillment of what the prophet Isaiah prophesied saying:

“These people honor me with their words,
    but I am not really important to them.
⁹ Their worship of me is worthless.
    The things they teach are only human rules.”

Today in our time, these people notably the Mandirigma (warriors) and the corrupt ministers in the INC of EVM take turns in heavily criticizing us alleging that we left the Church and have therefore forfeited our share in the salvific works of the Last Messenger.  They attack us left and right in social media for our acts of courage when we stood up for what is right.  We are the very small remnant who are now continuing the task of serving our Almighty God and our Lord Jesus Christ.   Why are we so sure that what happened to Israel before is happening to the INC today thus history indeed repeat itself?  In the same chapter of the same book of the prophet Isaiah this is written in verse 4:

                “Oh, what a sinful nation!”

God is referring to an entire nation of Israel and not just a few!   In our time today, the fulfillment is the entire institution of the Church of Christ headed by EVM.  It does NOT refer to the small remnant.   And if we continue to read the verse it says:

“They are evil, destructive children.  They left the Lord and insulted the Holy One of Israel.  They turned away and treated Him like a stranger.”

They are evil as manifested in their attacks on social media, the hate campaign, the cheating and the exaction of money from the brethren.  They even order God to kill us!  They are destructive children as what can be seen in the families and friends they destroy!  They left the Lord - the entire institution left the Lord by switching loyalty from God to EVM.   They praise EVM and thank him for everything thereby totally leaving out God making Him a forgotten God.  

What did these abominable things do to our Lord Jesus, the Holy One of Israel?  They insulted him!   An insult in the highest order!  An insult to the founder of the Church, the begotten Son of God, the Savior of God’s people, the man who suffered and died on the cross so that we may live.

To all those who continue to mock the small remnant, may the words of God as we cited in this piece be an eye opener to you while there is still time.

THE SMALL REMNANT BELITTLED AND RIDICULED

Due to marked ignorance, the blinded Ministers and brethren belittled and berated the small remnant for accordingly, we are few in numbers.  As Bro. Rod Bruno puts it: “pang facebook lang kayo”  (you’re only good for facebook).   They are obviously unaware of God’s policy when it comes to choosing His people.  It was never a numbers game upon which God predicated His choice.  This is something that the brethren should know and consider that if they do will be an eye opener for them in coming up with an informed decision.   And so, the first question that we should ask is Did God chose Israel for Himself to be His nation because they are many?  The answer can be found in the book of Deuteronomy 7:7

“The Lord did not set His love on you nor choose you because you were more in number than any other people, for you were the least of all peoples; but     because the Lord loves you, and because He would keep the oath which He swore to your fathers, the Lord has brought you out with a mighty hand, and redeemed you from the house of ^[c]bondage, from the hand of Pharaoh king of Egypt.”

The Bible is clear; it was not because Israel was more in number but in fact they were the least of all peoples. They were chosen because of God’s love and He would keep the oath which He swore to their fathers.  Therefore, it is not right to belittle and berate the small remnant because they are few in numbers for it has been the pattern of God that in every dispensation of time, He leaves a very small remnant to continue serving Him.  To do so would amount to a reckless exhibition of ignorance and arrogance tantamount to going against God Himself.

We all know the story of the great flood wherein God left a very small remnant, eight to be exact.  In the burning of Sodom and Gomorrah there were three that were saved, indeed a very small remnant.  When Job’s children and servants all perished at the same time, there were only four remnants that survived to tell him of the catastrophe.

In the light of the foregoing, God’s way should now be very clear to us.  It is not for anyone to carry out and pronounce judgement on what God has willed and purposed on Himself because the small remnant was prophesied at a time when the daughter of Zion is left as a booth in a vineyard, as a hut in the garden of cucumbers, as a besieged city. How else did God described the daughter of Zion?  This is what is written in Isaiah 1:21-23:

How the faithful city has become a ^[k]harlot!
It was full of justice;
Righteousness lodged in it,
But now murderers.
²² Your silver has become dross,
Your wine mixed with water.
²³ Your princes are rebellious,
And companions of thieves;
Everyone loves bribes,
And follows after rewards.
They do not defend the fatherless,
Nor does the cause of the widow come before them.

All these things we see happening now in our time before our very eyes.  The Church used to be full of justice and righteousness lodged in it.  This is the reason we joined this Church, this is where people get attracted to, from the upright members who are in faithful compliance with the will and laws of God living a holy and righteous way of life.   This is what catapulted the Church to Glory.  This is during the time of the sugo and Brother Erano G. Manalo. 

It is so different now under EVM.  The Bible said “But now murderers, your silver has become dross, your wine mixed with water, your princes are rebellious and companions of thieves.  Everyone loves bribes, and follow after rewards, THEY DO NOT DEFEND THE FATHERLESS, NOR DOES THE CAUSE OF THE WIDOW COME BEFORE THEM.”  

Each and every single word of this verse is present today under EVM’s reign and we need not elaborate.  It is staring us in the face and only a fool will deny its existence.   But there is hope, God will not allow evil and injustice to lord it over us forever.  This is what we can read in verses 24 to 28:

Therefore the Lord says,
The Lord of hosts, the Mighty One of Israel,
“Ah, I will ^[l]rid Myself of My adversaries,
And ^[m]take vengeance on My enemies.
²⁵ I will turn My hand against you,
And thoroughly^[n] purge away your dross,
And take away all your alloy.
²⁶ I will restore your judges as at the first,
And your counselors as at the beginning.
Afterward you shall be called the city of righteousness, the faithful city.”

Yes, brethren, there is a ray of hope, the light at the end of the tunnel, the silver lining behind the dark clouds as it was our Almighty Father who made the promise that He will rid Himself of His adversaries and take vengenace on His enemies.  This is the most dreaded day for Brother EVM and his council, the day when God will restore new leaders and council whose quality is as the beginning or of the same kind in leadership as brothers FYM and EGM.   So let's all exercise utmost patience and endurance. We, who compose the very small remnant today though belittled, berated and ridiculed will have the last laugh; not to laugh at the misfortunes of our detractors but the laughter of joy when our fortune is reversed which will happen in our lifetime.  But the greatest gift is yet to come, when we finally receive the crown of life from our Lord Jesus Christ on His second coming.
